About
Why ExpoTasks exists
Most companies that exhibit a few times a year don't have an events department. They have one marketing person with a spreadsheet, an exhibitor kit full of deadlines and a dozen other jobs.
Most of what goes wrong before a trade show is a missed date: the electrical order placed after the discount deadline, freight that reaches the warehouse a day late, graphics that arrive after the crates have left, a hotel block that closed last week. None of it is hard. There is just a lot of it, spread over months.
ExpoTasks starts from the show date and works backward. The free countdown on the home page gives you the task list with real dates for your show, based on deadlines published in exhibitor kits. It runs entirely in your browser.
The team planner, for companies doing several shows a year with more than one person, is in early access.
Who makes it
ExpoTasks is a product of Web Landscapes LLC, a web design and software company in Florida that builds sites and small business tools for clients across the US. It was designed and built by Javier Carnicer.
Good to know
- Show services such as electrical, furniture and freight handling are ordered from your show's contractor, through the kit.
- The dates in the countdown are typical lead times. Your show's kit has the real ones, and the countdown lets you enter them.
- Help with a show page or landing page for your booth is quoted through Web Landscapes.
