Accessibility
Last updated: October 31, 2026. This statement covers expotasks.com, run by Web Landscapes LLC, a Florida company trading as ExpoTasks. We aim at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What's in place
- Every page and the whole countdown work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Form fields have labels. Each task's checkbox is labeled with the task, and each Edit button names the task it edits.
- The summary (days to the show, tasks done, tasks due now) is a live region, so screen readers hear it change. Errors in the dates are announced.
- Status is written out ("Due now", "In 12 days", "Done"), not shown by color alone.
- The task editor is a native dialog: focus moves into it, Escape closes it.
- Text and background colors meet AA contrast. Pages reflow at 400% zoom and on 320-pixel-wide screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animations are minimal and stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
What isn't perfect
- The timeline strip above the list is a picture of the same information; screen readers get a one-line summary of it. The list below carries every task and date.
- Date fields use your browser's own date picker, which varies in how well it works with screen readers. You can always type the date.
- The contact forms open your email app. If that doesn't suit you, call or text instead.
